cubewithlegsHi! I'm Xan, aka cubewithlegs, aka a few other things. This is my first year doing Yuletide, so please be gentle.
General notes:
The stuff I've requested is slashy. I'm a bisexual-leaning-towards-gay man, and I'm definitely interested in m/m sex in any of these prompts. If you want to write sex, you can even make it kinky. I like kinky better than vanilla.
That said, though, I like character development and introspection as much or more than porn. I love great character interaction.
Prompt 1: J. Edgar (2011)

He could still taste the other man's blood on his lips...
I love the hotel scene in the movie. I love the tension and violence and raw passion, and I want to see what would have happened if it had become more than just a kiss. Feel free to make it as rough, kinky, or dirty as you want. There's also tons of inner conflict on the part of both characters. I just want to see what other people see in this.
Prompt 2: Vorkosigan Saga - Lois McMaster Bujold
(Ivan Vorpatril x Byerly Vorrutyer)
So many ideas. Maybe By gets Ivan drunk and Ivan does things he never thought he'd get off on. Maybe it's something more friendly. As said above, kinky gay sex is always appreciated.
Mostly, though, I just want to see Byerly being the underrated magnificent bastard that he is, and he's always been a confident and comfortable bisexual in my headcanon.
Just... By and Ivan. Whatever you want to do with it.
Prompt 3: Dark Tower - Stephen King
(Roland Deschain x Cuthbert Allgood)
I've always liked young Roland and his relationship with his early ka-tet, especially with Cuthbert. I do ship the two of them, but I see it as a fumbling, furitive, secret kind of thing rather than romantic. It could be set at any time, and I'm also a little intrigued by what thoughts the older Roland might have, looking back at his relationship with his lost best friend from many years away.
Well! I hope that I've given you at least a few ideas, and I hope that you can find something in this that you really want to write. I guess that what I want to say foremost is that if you get struck by inspiration, even if it doesn't seem to be what I'm looking for, run with it. I'd rather read something well-written because you like it than something that caters to my half-formed fancies.
